History
Jenesia1 Inc., was founded in 2010 by Kervin R. Spivey, a Service Disabled Veteran.
Mr. Spivey grew up as a Sharecrop Farmer in Bertie County, North Carolina. In 1979, he enlisted in the United States Army. Because of his love for his country and fellow citizens he decided to make a career of 20 years in the service, where he retired with an honorable discharge. While in the service Mr. Spivey was awarded many honors e.g. Communication Controller for the United States Secret Services which he performed duties for President Bill Clinton and was an escort for George W. Bush Inauguration. One of the lasting memories of his career was providing communication for the Late Pope John Paul II.
Recognition for dedication and commitment to the Armed Forces and Country Mr. Spivey received the “Joint Service Commendation Medal 2nd Oak Leaf Cluster”, “Army Commendation Medal 5th Oak Leaf Cluster” and “Army Achievement Medal 7th Oak Leaf Cluster”. Upon his retirement from the military Mr. Spivey had a vision that communication and the dissemination of information is the key to upward mobility of the global economy.
In 1997, Mr. Spivey started tinkering with the idea of improving on local communication systems. This in turn gave him the drive and insight to reinvent himself as well as his thinking about telecommunications. Subsequently, he went back to school to improve upon skills that was provided to him in the United States Army and earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management, and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Management of Information Systems/Technology Class of 2015.Jenesia1, Inc., is a small company started with the ideology of remaining abreast of current technological needs by continuing to provide IT/Telecommunications that work with Big Data and Cloud-based secure implemented platforms.
